Dr. Amy Johnson combines cutting edge science with ancient wisdom and common sense therapies to care for people with a wide range of concerns. Her emphasis centers around getting her patients healthy enough to care for themselves so they need her only for tune-ups and major life events.

Dr. Johnson is particularly conscious of meeting patients where they are and holding space for them throughout the process of finding and maintaining wellness.

She utilizes a broad toolbox of modalities with a foundation of nutrition, botanical medicine, and classical homeopathy. Classical homeopathy is a passion for her as this medicine fosters the development of each individual's uniqueness. She enjoys the connections created with her patients and the successes they have in overcoming deep seated obstacles.

Dr. Johnson is Board Certified by the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Examiners. In 2004 she received her doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon. She completed five years post doctorate studies in classical homeopathy with Drs. Paul Herscu and Amy Rothenburg of the New England School of Homeopathy (NESH).

She completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University, where she received her BA in microbiology and public health, igniting a fascination for the intricate balance of life. She gained an appreciation for the essential nature of the matrix of microorganisms in our digestive tract, believing this to be the key to optimal health.

Her foundation in natural healing came from an apprenticeship with renowned healer and educator Daniele Laberge in the Eastern provinces of rural Quebec. With Ms. Laberge's mentorship on her biodynamic herb farm, L'Armoire Aux Herbes, Amy learned a down-to-earth approach to holistic health care.
